This whole convo’s been great, getting closure’s rare and not to undervalued. As for the aquarium thing, I love them too – but, not going to go for the obvious fish tank puns… low hanging fruit, but still amusing. Although one wonders if he ever used that as an idea for a Halloween costume? heh
I really appreciate seeing someone understand this- I hear so much of “just give him a chance” or “but what if its a good thing and you’re gonna miss out/ lose it.” Very very few people (outside of the innermost circle who know all the details) help remind me that MY BOUNDARIES ARE FOR MY EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL SAFETY. No one has any right to tell me otherwise. And yet so many do :/
Anyway, thanks for saying that. It’s really refreshing to hear.
I now know what animal tank should get- a cyborg ferret! It would wrap around his neck, protecting his circuits, and also be something for him to care for.
I’m glad that there’s been some sort of closure between these two. Tank’s got a LONG way to go before he’s ready to be in a relationship with anyone though. It’d help if he could trust the higher ups to not fuck with him so he could go in and get the berserker shit out so he wouldn’t be tempted to screw with it etc.
Seriously, it’s completely fucked up that Rock and the rest of his fellow super soldiers have to worry about high command treating them like G.I. Joes that they can customize and accessorize as they wish. It’s one thing for them to volunteer for it, but to randomly have shit put in them just because “Wouldn’t it be kickass if Commander Badass had Wolverine claws or if Tank had machine guns in his arms!?!?” and having to worry that the next time they get put under they could be rendered alien to their friends and family?
I really like that Tank and I have a similar hobby in fish tanks. It’s just something I’ve always liked, and recently have gotten way too into. I hope we get to see Tank’s tank sometime!
I also really like this whole story arc. Closure is good, and given how little I had in previous relationships, I’m really enjoying see it in another.
I like fish too, but my favorite aquariums are the ones that have other animals as well, like penguins.
One of my fondest memories of an aquarium involved a glass-walled penguin enclosure, where the entire flock ended up following me around as I walked past.
The penguins had an inexplicable fascination with a crappy blue plastic electric fan on a lanyard that I was carrying around. They friggen LOVED that thing for some reason.
When I finally realized what they were so fixated on and why they were chasing me around, I stopped and started to intentionally swing it around visibly for them to gawk at, and they went totally nuts over it, like it was their favorite toy in the whole world. It was basically the cutest thing I’d ever seen in my life, and I spent a solid forty minutes letting them lose their shit over it as I swung it around in gentle loops or slowly trailed it up and down along the side of the enclosure.
One of the handlers even ended up coming by and was laughing her ass off at their reaction, saying she’d never seen them so excited about a strange object before, and was speculating it must have been something to do with that particular shade of blue that they found intriguing.
This is kinda neat, but it’s also kinda weird. Like, Tank is a comically overbuff half-terminator man, but he’s the most serious and depressing character.
Commander continues to give us examples of good life choices. Including what to do about unhealthy relationships.
(That is; yes, they can have good qualities. But staying with them isn’t good for you OR THEM, and really its actually best for both parties if you break up. And one day, there can be healing, but you can’t do that for them)
It’s nice, and I love fish tanks as well
But, do you also love Tank’s fish?
What about fish that look like tanks?
Tank’s tank-fish fish tank? Fishy…
Tanks that look like fish? You know…Battlefield camouflage.
O.o
We all know he doesn’t have fish.
He has a Blastoise.

Fish are great. Not much else to say on the matter.
…but he’s on the list for a cool cyborg service dog, right?
It’s a long list apparently.
He likes fish? Then he needs to hang out with Jared.
On the one hand, this might make him compete time about fish.
On the other hand… Cyborg “Mr Fish II”?
I think Jared is too oblivious to let it become a competition. Then again, there was that whole time his mom bad mouthed him for raising a Gyarados.
And the Pokemon Go incident.
You remember that Mr. Fish has alien xenomorph babies now right?! lol
What if they’re definitely 100% good emotions for real? Still no?
Rock’s got his boundaries, for his own safety.

Which begs the question: have they ever met Troy McLure?
But has Tank met… MR. Fish?
So what you’re telling us is Tank probably has a fish tank. But is it a fish tank tank? As in, a reclaimed Panzer with fish in it?
Nope, inversely he has a little plastic tank inside the fish tank…
It’s a Leopard 2.
Does anything even exists that doesn’t involve emotions? Aquaria included?
Boffo use of the Latin plural!
I now know what animal tank should get- a cyborg ferret! It would wrap around his neck, protecting his circuits, and also be something for him to care for.
“Wanna to do something”?
The slide 2 line! Fantastic. For some reason hit home!
I liked this little bit, not really funny, but it was real pleasant
“Follow me to the aquarium.”
Ahh, this is a great little arc.
It DOES sort of leave me wondering just how huge a size that hoodie on Tank is, though…
Let’s call it size T so that we don’t cause a global X shortage.

Botanical garden, they should visit one of those. Manly guys can love flowers too.
I bet Tank could be convinced to go for the koi ponds, at the very least

D’awww. thanks for this.
Now I wonder if Tank would like to meet Mr.Fish, or to raise one of his own…
tank will end up as the head of a Pokemon villain team as a result of being big, scary looking, and not a total idiot.
Hahahahaha wtf no way i believe this
Tanks for the memories.
AW MAN I LOVE THIS SHIT! SO CUTE. SO PURE. SUCH A GOOD THING.
Tank likes fish, and the Commander is called Lobster. COINCIDENCE!?!?!?!?!
. . . more than likely. Yeah.
This is kinda neat, but it’s also kinda weird. Like, Tank is a comically overbuff half-terminator man, but he’s the most serious and depressing character.
Doomguy when he runs out of adrenaline and crashes.

Ya know, I’ve been trying to think of different thing’s that they could do, given the restrictions of “No competition, alcohol, or emotions”
What about construction? I can’t help but feel like it would be really sweet for them to build something. We know Rock likes working on cars.
Eh, it might get too close to emotions… but still.
Este grupa de comicas: me gusta. :3
Wait, is that why they call him “Tank”? As in fish tank?
Tank probably would make a good babysitter for one of CMDR’s not a date nights.
No football then?
