I’ve mentioned this over on Tumblr, but I was in a car accident this weekend. My boyfriend broke two bones in his leg, I walked away with some bruised ribs and a chipped tooth, the car is most likely going to be written off, and I just got back from the hospital and getting him all set up at his mom’s place while he waits for surgery a couple minutes ago. I’m still gonna try to get a strip up this week, but, you know. Can’t exactly plan for car crashes.

Sorry to hear that, car crashes are no fun. My significant other was a bit traumatised after being in one not too long ago, so if you need to take a bit of time to get that out of your system, I for one won’t hold it against ya.

Well, that’s a helluva good reason for a delay. Real life intrudes sometimes, but… Dayum! Take a break for a breather. When I crashed my car I was physically fine but mentally good for nothing for about a week.
Every day this week I’ve thought to myself “WHY THE F*** HASN’T SHE UPLOADED?!” Then I remember I’ve read this post already and feel terribly bad. I’m sorry :(

I hope both you and your BF recover well from the accident! I was rear ended by a drunk at a stop light and the front of my car forced under the SUV in front of me. My back still aches years later.
The irony here is that this happened just after making a comic which makes a brief joke about health care.
