I just got DA:I and that means I’ve been leaving everything to the last minute

So I think it’s safe to say Bull is basically leading the Inquisition in my game considering I make all my decisions based on what will make him be my BFF. Also, please enjoy Standust and Bulldust.
Dear Bioware; Qunari headbutt DLC ples.

BFF? Pfft, FBF*.
*Cookie if you figure it out!
!!!! Oh Hell Nah !!!!! Actually considering that theres alot of FBs in DA the amount of S*x that is probably in DA:I im not surprised.*
*Also Not to be a stickler to detail Coel but I see that the blood splatter from panel 2 dissappeared, maybe it got smeared off in the man hug if not its cool,
A random Mabari might have shown up and cleaned them off.
I do not have a Mabari this is not acceptable GIVE ME MY DOG BIOWARE.
I don’t usually outline bloodsplatter, it’ll be in the colour version.
Fighting Bros Forever?

The OCD person in me is pleased Coel…. :)
He must be a pretty amazing character for Coelasquid to dig it. What with how upsetting the retconing of the Qunari was and all that.
I have yet to get me my Inquisiton… Soon I’ll find out… Soon…
There was hardly a retcon though. Sten hardly says anything about the Qun.
Bull’s pretty great. He’s difficult to put in a squad because the game AI likes to send him charging off of cliffs, but it’s worth it.
I believe they meant the horns.
Thing is they apparently always meant for the Qunari to have horns, but they couldn’t get him to wear a helmet otherwise. They left his horns off so they could take care of that issue in the first game.
I wonder why they didn’t think of “cannot be worn by Qunari/can only be worn by Qunari”? That’s kinda the whole thing they did in Mass Effect with Krogan and Turian armours, and with KOTOR they had “cannot be worn by wookies”.
They actually explain in DA:I that Qunari that don’t have horns are believed to be destined for greatness.
Which makes sense because Sten is the new Arashok.
Shoot, they even did that back in origins with your pet dog and shale, they both had unique weapons and armor only they could wear and no other party members. It’s not like they didn’t have the system in place.
It’s called “BS Excuse”
Sten was being punished, right? Maybe they cut his off?
I remember reading something along the lines of some qunari are born without horns and they believe it’s an sign that they have some special purpose in life, can’t remember where I read it, might have been some random codex entry in DA2 that caught my eye
I think the lore is that the Sten from Origins naturally has no horns, and that’s a good omen among the Qunari.
I really need to pick up a copy. Hate that it requires Origin. Wish they would just merge with Steam so all my (PC) games could be on one service.
that’ll only happen if steam or EA buys the other, pray that steam buys EA, not the other way around
Steam won’t get bought out until they become an open corporation. IIRC Valve is a privately owned partnership, no shares to buy or sell unless one of the two decide to sell off their half of the company. I believe Gabe once commented he would not do so because, paraphrasing, “open corporations contribute nothing beyond being a way to get the shareholders rich.”
That’s kind of the idea behind GOG Galaxy.
(My apologies if this shows up twice)
The most popular sport in Thedas is now Bullriding, and it doesn’t stop after just 8 seconds.
I do not disapprove of this.
Iron Bull *Siiigh* what a set of horns on him <3
Woot, a DAI comic! Iron Bull; the anti-Sten XD
Nice rain textures … it reminds me of how from the coast to the mire it’s ALWAYS RAINING….
Do the Qunari have umbrellas? My mage’s is about ready to trade in her staff for one at this point…
Saw a wonderful doodle of Bull holding up Cole like an umbrella (also Solas was standing under)
The most infuriating thing about DA:I so far for me has been the fact that I know I’m getting it for Christmas, so I can’t buy it before then.
Guys, I just want to romance a Qunari.
I know EXACTLY how you feel… Although in my case it’s Morrigan… I’ve only had time to play Origins, and from what I’ve heard it’s the only one in which she is straight.
I mean dammit! Morrigan is everything my heathen little heart desires in a woman!
I wanna romance Cole, but I can’t, so my elven archer dude is with Cass.
Dare I say Standust and Bulldust look rather… dashing. ;)
And as usual, poor Cass has to be the voice of harried reason…Love that :)
My first DA:I playthrough, I ran with Cass or Blackwall, depending on the mission, Cole and Solas. It was interesting, if a trifle dour. My second character hung out with Bull, Varric and Dorian, and my party was suddenly much more colorful, fun and prone to attacking anything three levels and twenty feet higher than we were.
Fun fact I just found out: if you get both their approval up high enough but don’t romance either one of them, Bull and Dorian hook up. Bioware, I luvs you…
On a new character I recently swapped my usual Cass/Varric/Solas group for Bull/Sera/Dorian. Oh man, their dialogue. Iron Bull tries to convince Sera to let him toss her over enemy lines so that “Mayhem will ensue” and continues to try to convince her because: “Sera, think of the Mayhem. MAY. HEM.” XD
I thought Standust and Bulldust were direct references to Ziggy Stardust, because I don’t know pro wrestling that well. Nonetheless, still relevant to my interests.
Now I’m imagining Bowie wrestling… … …It does not help that I still suffer from Spandex-crotch-shot trauma from Labyrinth.
AKA areaology (more trauma). (Also this, at about 5:20.)
I got really confused at first because the entire second row made me think of Canada Guy, but the actual interpretation is a whole lot better than that.
The one thing I’m really curious about is… how does Iron Bull avoid getting his horns stuck in the door? or the ceiling? or the chandeliers or… pretty much anything else.
Well, if he cares about the door/ceiling/chandelier/whatever, he can just duck. Otherwise? He can Bull right on through it.
To be fair I did get my horn clonking off of low hanging lights as my qunari. That aside, I think Bull halfway explains that about how he might be able to wear a shirt. Get it over one horn first then slowly angle it through. Same thing with the door, gotta angle oneself right to fit through.
That has nothing to do with the horns. It’s actually really dumb how they made those lights work; if the PC goes under one it bumps. Doesn’t matter if your character’s a dwarf with three feet of clearance, if you go under it the light bumps.
I’m playing a male Qunari warrior with goat horns too, so this comic was uncannily familiar to me. You have excellent taste!
By far he is my favorite character. Especially having him and Sera together and all their banter. Especially fighting dragons with him =D
Just out of curiosity… do Qunari dreadnoughts sink?
No. No they do not.
*MANLY TEARS*
A DAI comic! Yay!
I’m still obsessed with this game and I’ve had it for several weeks. :D
Second playthrough for me. I actually kind of backwards lucked-out because I hadn’t realized that my Keep save hadn’t loaded until it was too late, so I played the first time with the default options. Annoying, but that let me do stuff that I have no intention of doing in my ‘real’ game.
Whoot whoot!! Here’s to hopefully many more Iron Bull comics to come!! He’s just so awesome! Bull’s awesome, Sten’s awesome, damnit Qunari companions stop being so awesome!!!!
Never had a chance to play the Dragon Age series. Is it wrong to read this as if they were Fonz and the greasers?
Blackwall actually asks Bull about using his horns for combat.
Bull answers that because he usually is larger than his opponents the bending down to use them gives them to much time to prepare. That’s the reason he doesn’t use his horns in combat.
It worked once though! A ‘vint on either horn!… they just screamed the rest of the fight.
I don’t get it. Could someone explain the joke?
Col’s character decides Bull is his bro, and joins Bull’s merc company as the new leader.
I still don’t get it.
Playing as a raging hedonist again?
I want Bull to become comic canon. He’s got such a great personnality. I’m sure there’s shenanigans potential with Kratos and Sten, at least.
Although its sad the Qunari class in the MP is not very good. It’s got also most no guard building moves so he’s the squishiest of the four warriors.
Hey, if you decide to cosplay as the Iron Bull, will you have your boyfriend cosplay as Dorian? :D
What’s Hot Bot?
It’s totally understandable… I’d love to do the dishes and go to work BUT THE INQUISITION NEEDS ME
