Interest has been shown in a forum for the site, so I figured I’d ask if there was enough general interest with folks to get one going. It could be great, we can all have sleepovers and braid each others’ hair and argue about who rocks the bullet speed the most in Spartacus: Blood and Sand

I don’t see why not. Just, you know, don’t make it all about the comic. I can read that by myself. I suggest sub-forums about red pandas, flowers and old steampunky brass shit you find in grandpa’s garage.
I really don’t think it’s appropriate. Wait a few more months/weeks, to see if it’s worth it.
Maybe I’m a big fat cynic, but forums tend to be a sample of the internet at its most banal and irritating. If you can see yourself becoming disgusted with it and deleting it after a month I wouldn’t bother, but if you can put up with that or have people willing to help you then why the hell not.

pt 2: Though in all seriousness, I do agree with gb. If you can deal with constant criticism, fighting and complete idiocy, do it. If you’re not ready to either be a moderator or be bitched at for a lack of a moderating team, don’t do it.
Forums can be an excellent way for people to come together, but all it takes is a little too much nerd rage to ruin everything.
Why not, it can’t hurt. If it costs nothing, givit a go, you can always remove it if it’s bad. If it costs money, however, wait a while and see if it’s worth it, like BigLord said.

When you have a large enough Archives and fanbase, there’ll be plenty of nitty details for them to argue about.
if u gonna do forums you got to advertise more you can’t rely on HALOLZ to keep frontpaging your comics to get more attention :D
