Just put a new spam filter in because I was getting an ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS number of spam comments. Like, “new comments every couple minutes” ludicrous.
So feel free to email me at coelasquid@gmail.com if you’re having trouble commenting. I’m not sure how touchy it is about moderating stuff.
Just a friendly tip: you might want to turn that email adress into a picture, to prevent the bots from finding it…
I was thinking about that, but I have it a number of places on the site and it hasn’t been a problem yet.
I’m probably just coasting on laziness, but, yanno…
The…vikings were spamming you? D: Why don’t you use a recaptcha or something c:?
I think the plugin makes comments that set off the spam waring signs use a captcha. Maybe. I’ll confess, I’ve already forgotten most of the plugin summary.
I was just getting a plugin ready for the spam problem and saw this. YAY I DONT HAVE TO DO WORK
Awh yeah, I’m self sufficient when all being self sufficient involves is typing “spam filter” into a search engine and clicking “install”.
Dude, did you SRSLY just post your email for the whole world of spambots to see?
Switch it to coelasquid at gmail dot com which any human can understand. For the period I posted my email on my blog, I started getting tons of spam in my Inbox daily. Not using the ‘at’ and ‘dot’ signs cut it down to almost nil instantly.
Dun u wury bro. Seriously do not worry, I’ve done it all over the place here.
