Looper was a great movie and I wholly recommend it to fellow action movie fans, but any time I saw a poster or trailer for it, all I could think of was “Wooper Looper”

Anyways, just watched Looper’s trailer. If it’s very good action movie, i can’t wait to see it in the cinema.
But too bad, Indonesia’s censorship are a pain in the @$$… Better wait for the dvd…

So many good movies to watch. And I’ve got a whole plethora of them I want to rent and watch too, because I missed them when they came out.
But, since I don’t get the joke on this one…………… I’ll just pass, in favour of Dredd :/
The movie that this comic is pardying is called “looper”.
This made Coelasquid think of the pokémon called “wooper”, and subsequently draw the main character as one.
Yes, go see Dredd. If it makes $50,000,000 in the U.S.A. we will get a sequel. Also go see Solomon Kane. They delayed that move for three years for no discernible reason.
Pokemon puns. Not always easily gotten but a pleasant surprise when you finally do.
I can wholeheartedly agreed with Coelasquid. Looper is a great movie joseph and bruce both do some kickass acting! ;D
Oh and The comic was great too, joseph really looked different in it, didn’t see it was him at first glance! :D

He’s done both of those before, in 12 Monkeys and Unbreakable.
I don’t remember any reference to time travel in Unbreakable.
12 Monkeys was definitely about time travel. Want proof, I think he looked older in it then he does in looper. Creepy!

About that 360, how long is it gonna take for Mr. Fish to get jealous of the box and eat it?
All the light would get in if they lasered the roof, plus it might hit the screen.

Madness is the most well-known one, but there are things like Thing Thing that have that same character style.
Madness focuses more on the episodic cartoons than the games anyway.

That last panel…oh my God I am favoriting this comic so one day I will randomly find it and read it and laugh just as fucking hard as I did just now.
Personally I think making the main character a confused and enraged Wooper would have improved the movie substantially. I was not a fan.
I just wanna thank you for your last post about the film Dredd. I ended up seeing the film and laughed whole-heatedly every time the colors became vibrant because all I could think about was your reference to lollipop chainsaw. Its been a pleasure reading your comic and I look forward to more testosterone filled fun!
I didn’t get this until I read the comments because I never saw more than the first 151 pokemon before I quit playing. Is my nerd card going to be revoked now? o.o

Time travel assassination. That seems like an obscene waste of resources.
Everyone is so heavily tracked, tagged, and ID’d in the future it’s very difficult to make bodies disappear.
I get that. Seems like feeding the bodies to animals would still be an effective solution. Once a body has passed through some pigs or dogs, tracking wouldn’t be an issue.
You’re assuming this future still has pigs or dogs. Perhaps the tracking devices set off a thing if the person dies which would not go off if they’re back in the past before the tracking system was implemented. I haven’t seen the movie, though, so grain of salt and all that.
I assume people are chipped, and if the chip turned up in an animal (or it’s leavings) foul play would be pretty much certain.
heh sounds like a movie i might actually want to see. the last movie i went to movies to see was a disappointment. Great comic it makes the movie seem more appealing then the previews do.

Well… That’s one way of making a derp!Pokemon look like a bad-arse. On a related note, I’m going to predict that Nuzlockers out there will now be aiming to train their own bad-arse Woopers.
One thing about that movie: Who in their right mind will willingly off their future self? In due time, you will turn into your future self, and get blown to hell by your past self! Why go with that?
Because it prevents you from living like a soylent green character like every other person in their world. They do say “if” you’re alive in 30 years, people don’t seem to have a lot of longevity.
You also get enough gold to do pretty much anything you ever wanted to do in that 30 years instead of drudging along barely scraping by day to day…

Love it. Wooper is in my top for favorite Pokemon but is number one on names. If you see some idiot running down the street yelling “WOO-PAH!”….Well, it’s not me cause I’m pretty anti-social but I wish I was brave enough to do that stupid thing.

My brain didn’t even alter the name at all. See, there’s this game called Skies of Arcadia that has these enemies called Loopers.
They’re basically Metal Slimes, and you eventually get a chance to fight two special versions: one the size of an island, and one with more HP than the final boss.
Basically, Loopers are jerks.

I just watched Looper. I still don’t really get the Pokemon reference (just never got into Pokemon), but the last panel is far more hilarious now. I am still not convinced that was actually Joseph Gordon-Levitt!
