Jared’s life is clearly rife with hardship.
!!!!!!!!! 8D THERE’S A GOLEM OUT THERE ON THE GRASS! WHERE’S MY BACKPACK OF POKEBALLS?!
FUCK THE GOLEM I WANT THE MAGICARP, for we all know the amazingness that is mr. fish
That’s one heck of a random encounter density.
Not as high as Earthbound Zero.
I love the poor Magikarp just flopping around in the grass. :’D …and the Seel. They seem to be a long way from home! D:
Looking back at this comment, I have to give Zombie props for picking out the coolest character of the strip before he even becomes awesome.
YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE UP AND COMING COMIC-ER HOLY MOLY.
I loved his face in the bottom left panel. I couldnt stop laughing. XD
Jared’s face shall be the avatar I use from now on.
Your comics are awesome. Love the disappointment at his not quitting school.
I hope Jared knows Cut.
I just wanted to say that I have read the comic to this point and deem you worthy of my manly daily reading. Keep up the good work, mate!
Heya, just started reading today. Brilliant stuff. I look forward to seeing this comics future.
His mum is kinda hot.
that joke is just classy. your comics are great. just wish they came out more often than once a week. but quality of quantity i spose.
In Kanto, do they make cheese poofs out of miltalk milk? Or do they just ship it from normal cows?
They get the miltank milk shipped in. No miltanks in Kanto.
the last panel is what I’ve been thinking my entire life. please keep making more comics.
Don’t go in de tall grass! *eaten by ursaring*
Re: Milktanks in Kanto.
That comment made my day.
OMG, a Kangasaur!
Kangaskhan =/= Kangasaur
Kangasaur does not exist.
Neither do kangaskhans…
i kno tht an u kno tht but me lil sis thanks euripe is kanto -__-
His fishbone t-shirt reminds me of Animal Crossing. And I love the way you drew the tons of pokemon just lounging on his front lawn. It’s like how deer only cross at the deer crossing signs! Wait…
Mow the tall grass, no Pokemon appear. Problem solved.
He can’t mow it, there are pokemon standing on it.
He should have picked a pokemon that knows cut, then. Cut can be used on tall grass that wild pokemon appear in.
He doesn’t know that…
that tall grass can be a bitch!
Is my comp giving me problems, or did Jared suddenly disappear from existence in the last panel…?
He’s inside, they didn’t open the door yet.
That would make the heck for a stand alone comic.
Great comic so far! This one was especially funny.
*facepalm* This has to be the silliest use of that absurdity I’ve ever seen, and yet the most obvious. Good show.
You know, looking back, I wonder what made Jared go off on a Pokemon adventure when all he was told to do was mow his yard. Oak popping up and telling me to get a Pokemon certainly wouldn’t make ME leave MY precious cable jack.
He had to level up Mr. Fish enough so that he could go home and fight the wild Pokemon off the tall grass, but by the time Mr. Fish was big and strong he was too far away to get back easily.
Seriously, that’s a lot of grass to cut. I wouldn’t come back either.
Why does that Muk have legs?
Magikarp just chillin’. Workin’ on his fishy tan…
How has nobody yet noted that a guy who is essentially living in a Game Boy GamePak owns a 360?
Yep, definitely a car there :)
THAT’S A PROP >_>
YOU MUST BATTLE ME
… Was he livin in the Safari Zone or somethin?
And what is with the wild Golem? Must be a feral.
As for his console-gaming problems, surely he could just stick the plug in a Magnemite or something.
This is probably my tenth time re-reading this….and I just noticed something. Despite what Jared’s mom says, Jared is sitting on a chair, not a couch. I don’t think there’s even a couch in that room.
